Welcome to Alum S.A.

Alum S.A. is a public Romanian company, whose shares have been traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since 1996.

In the first quarter of 2007 operations at Alum were temporarily suspended for modernization. Alum S.A. has historically produced approximately 500,000 tonnes of alumina and hydrate per year (aluminum hydroxide), which makes it the largest producer of these products in Romania and South-East Europe.

Alum S.A. products are sold both domestically and internationally. Alum S.A. benefits from its strategic location at the mouth of the Danube, not far from Constanta, Romania's largest sea port.
